When his name is pronounced everyone knows him, a religious singer known as “Abo Ghayeb” his real name is Alawi Sayed Mohsin Al Alawi. Always keen to perform social obligations and has extensive relationships with people at all levels, he is loved by everyone. He is a devout religious person, he has a daughter and three sons, the oldest is 10 years and the youngest is one year old. Always was a guest in the regime prisons with every obstacle, not because he is political but it seems that it’s because of his social place that has a clear impact in addition to the impact of his words and songs that are clarify by the government as political. In the nineties they covered his eyes for 4 months which ended with a torn retina. He exceeded fifty years old and still a prisoner in the regime's prisons.
Incident of March 13, 2011:
Thugs of the regime had spread in all areas to raise fear in the hearts of the people to change protesters demands and turn them into sectarian war, one of the regime's tricks that already failed. But some Asian labor was paid by the government to terrorize innocent people, which were forced to address them, Manama one of the places. On that night 8 o’clock pm Abo Ghayeb was having dinner with his family in his apartment on the first floor. He heard voices of feet running outside he looked through the window and then went down immediately and returned back in less than ten minutes, when I asked him he said one of the Asian tried to attack the residents so they had to confront them. He holds the phone and called the ambulance. He looked through the window again when he heard the ambulance Asian had walked to the ambulance.
Night of the arrest 17-3-2011:
After the wave of raid that started after the Saudi armies entered everyone lived in fear and I began to fear for the arrest of my husband, he reassured me saying I have done nothing, and I’m not a politician. We were not scared as long as we haven’t done anything? On the night of the arrest we were asleep but a strong voice woke us up in terror it was like an expulsion. The intelligence raided the door of the building were we lived in the first floor, in few seconds they were outside our house strong knocking by hand leg and guns. Once my husband opened the door he got a hit in his stomach in front of his 4 children. The masked men 12 of them with two men wearing military clothes spread quickly in our small flat and took him and I didn’t know where to! They took my husband and our neighbor that lives upstairs; the building became empty of its inhabitants. After four days they raid the apartment looking for him again they broke the door and scattered the contents of the apartment until they found amount of money they took it and left the place. For two months he has not changed his night clothes in jail, I thought he was dead all nightmares came into my mind until we received a call to take clothes for him in the criminal investigation department, I felt relieved that he is still alive. Before he completes his third month we got a call at 10pm saying: tomorrow at 8 in the morning is his trial and asked them to hire a lawyer to the defendants. I was shocked what trial? And which lawyer at this time? And who is going to agree to plead for him? What is he accused for? Lots of questions with no answers came to mind. I met him in court after 3 months couldn’t believe he was standing in front of me still alive. He was accused with “murder” I was shocked by the charge. After court we were allowed to sit with him for 10min, it was enough to see him limping but as usual he hides his pain behind a smile. Royal decree was issued to cancel the military courts and one session before the sentencing hearing I received a call at 2:30 am that he is released. Couldn’t believe it was like a dream we went to take him, he stayed with us less than 24 hours they came back again for him and took him to complete the procedures as they said. But he stayed another 3 months in the Dry Dock prison! There the visits and calls became regularly. Whenever we meet the officers they promise us he will be released this week the another until the time of reading the verdict came hours separate us from tomorrow, or maybe an eternity. But tomorrow Monday the third of October he could come back with us from that place, where he spent years of his youth there and until now. There where he starts a journey away from his children and a sky without lines.

The Defense:
Military courts are not competent to investigate these civil crimes. Scene was not previewed, with lack of any supposed evidence, fingerprints or traces.
All sources of the accusation are classified as confidential then every inquiry cannot be relied upon a clear contrast between the witness (brother of the victim) and the defendant in terms of place of the event.
The witness said that the defendant was inside the apartment in contrast to reality as the defendant was outside the house.
Not verified any of the contents of the House is destroyed by anyone.
The coroner report established that the injuries resulted from misrepresenting friction, which contradicted the testimony of the officer.
The coroner report that the defendants were subjected to harsh physical and psychological torture to extract forced confessions.
However, the incident which all defendants talked about was in Block (301), whereas the witness reportedly occurred in Block (304).
