THIS IS HIS TESTIMONY:

I was kidnapped with 4 other consultants from Salmaniya Medical Complex on Monday 11th of April at around 12 noon from the Administaration office  in the hospital.

I was detained for nearly 72 hours. On 1st day, we were blind folded,

Hand cuffed, forced to stand, with no water or food.

Interrogation began at 10 pm and ended at 7 am, beating on the head, neck and shoulders constantly, verbal abuse and cursing about my family and religious beliefs.

On the 2nd day, I was so confused and weak, that I was taken to the clinic

at the Manama Fort for intravenous fluids for about 2 hours.

Was then returned and interrogation began at 4 pm lasting until to 7 pm, by Mubarak Bin Howeel, along with beating on the back, head and shoulders.

On the 3rd day the interrogation was by Military Prosecutor in CID that

Began at 1 afternoon to 6 pm.

I was released on Wed 13th of April, after paying BD 3000 as a bail.

I was threatened not to talk to any Journalist or any media or any

Human rights organisation.

I was released because of my Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma cancer ( A type of  cancer of the blood) and I am still receiving the chemotherapy for it. My immunity goes down to sub optimal level, thus I get infections very easily and my life is in danger.
